Books are the best friend of humans. Books sometimes fill the emptiness in each one’s life .Book reading is always a good idea to work upon. It not only makes our mind think broad but also it improves our vocabulary and fluency in speaking. Reading books is not just a hobby but it can also lead you to fulfill your goal. It is never too late to start reading book whenever you get your free time you can utilise in reading book rather than using your phone continuously .I started reading books in my class 11 when my summer holidays just begin the book which I read was A FACE IN DARK AND COLLECTION OF SHORT STORIES this book is written by Ruskin bond and after that continuity of reading books remain. Every book has its own story and its importance. But after reading different kinds of books like fiction ,mythology ,spiritual and inspirational I felt my inclination upon mythology of India the stories of past and the lessons from each book made my mind to think positive and to look the positive aspect of every situation .The book ‘SITA-WARRIOR OF MITHILA’ written by AMISH TRIPATHI .This book is of RAM CHANDRA series book 2.
The author of this book is one of the best Indian authors, who is known for his book series Shiva Trilogy and Ram Chandra series. The Shiva Trilogy was the fastest selling book in Indian history of publishing followed by the Ram Chandra series . SITA -WARRIOR OF MITHILA is Ram Chandra series book 2.
In this book the life story of Princess Sita is shown from being an adoptive daughter of King Janak and Queen Sunaina, to the wife of Prince Ram .From the very beginning of the book it is being told to the readers that how Princess Sita was found to her parents and the huge bird who protected her from pack of wolves .As King and Queen did not have their child they adopted Sita and made her their daughter and never let her feel that she was not her real daughter .Although they told her how she was brought to Mithila but they did never differentiated in her and always treated her with love and respect . Mithila founded by the great king Mithi on the bank mighty Gandaki River and it was having a very spiritual environment,It was the favorite place of the saints.Once when Princess Sita was around 6 year old she moved out of her palace without informing to anyone and she reached to slum where she was caught by some thief who tried to steal her belonging from her but their she was rescued by a girl whose age was not mentioned a tall and skinny girl named Samichi. Later on when Princess Sita grew older she went to ashram for her studies and she learnt many of the skill and she was also selected by Maharishi Vishwamitra to be next Vishnu.Later on when her her mother expired she was selected as prime minister of Mithila ,she did her duty and served her nation. She also carried her responsibility of being the next Vishnu. Later in her swayamvar she got married to Prince Ram and after their marriage they went to 14 year of exile due to some of reason there she was kidnapped by Ravaan, But when she got kidnapped she looked towards the attacker face and Princess Sita was completely in shock because the attacker was no one else but her friend Samichi who was chief of police of Mithila and who ones saved her life……Here, the story end leaving the Audience in a completely suspense that why did Samichi attacked Sita ?Why she became her enemy? And how would Prince Ram will rescue Sita?
This book is one of the best books I have ever read. Every action and speech is so wonderfully written that It makes the reader feel that he/she is present at that time. Lines in this book to describe the speeches that have a powerful impact on readers’ minds. Every line has its own importance but the best line I felt was when Queen Suniana told her daughter(Sita) once that-‘You must use your heart to decide the destination, but always use your head to plot the journey.’ This line had a great impact on me.
If someone is planning to read a book of the Mythological series then I would suggest he/she read this book and have a feel of a different world where people like Princess Sita and Prince Rama lived. After reading this book you will also appreciate the Author of this book Mr Amish for his excellent work the way I am doing right now.
